Overview

OMNIS ("we", "us", "the Service") is a social tracking and discovery platform for movies and TV series, currently in pre‑launch. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our landing page at omnis.app.

This is not the privacy policy for the OMNIS product itself: that will be published when the product launches. This policy covers only the landing page and any information you share with us before launch (such as joining the waitlist or contacting us).

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

  • Email address, if you join the waitlist, request our pitch deck, or contact us
  • Name and any other details you choose to include in messages to us

Information collected automatically

  • Basic analytics (page views, referrer, approximate location at country/city level, device type, browser) to understand how people find and use the landing page
  • Technical logs (IP address, timestamps) retained for a short period for security and abuse prevention

We do not use advertising cookies or cross‑site tracking.

How We Use Your Information

  • Waitlist: to notify you when OMNIS opens for closed beta or launch
  • Investor inquiries: to send our pitch deck or coordinate a call when requested
  • Communication: to respond to questions you send us
  • Improvement: to understand landing page performance and improve our messaging

We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Data Retention

  • Waitlist emails are stored until you unsubscribe or until launch communications are complete
  • Inquiry emails are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain records of the conversation
  • Analytics data is aggregated and retained according to our analytics provider's policy

Data Storage and International Transfers

OMNIS is operating in Georgia. To deliver the Service, we use infrastructure providers that store and process data on servers located in the European Union and the United States.

This means your data may be transferred outside your country of residence. Specifically:

  • Website hosting and waitlist data
  • Email delivery
  • Analytics

We rely on the following legal mechanisms for these transfers:

  • For EU/UK residents: Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and where applicable, our US providers' participation in the EU‑US Data Privacy Framework
  • For Georgian residents: transfers comply with Article 41 of the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection, which permits transfers to countries providing adequate data protection or under appropriate safeguards
  • For users elsewhere: we apply equivalent safeguards regardless of jurisdiction

All providers we use are bound by data processing agreements requiring them to protect your data to standards at least equivalent to those described in this policy.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following service providers to operate the website. Each acts as a data processor in connection with the service they provide to us, in accordance with their standard terms and applicable data protection laws.

Website Hosting

Our website is hosted by GPT Engineer AB, a company registered in Sweden. When you visit our website, their infrastructure automatically processes:

  • Your IP address
  • HTTP request data (pages visited, timestamps, referrer, browser and device information)
  • Standard server logs required to deliver the website to your browser

This data is processed for the purpose of hosting and delivering the website. GPT Engineer AB processes this data as a data processor in connection with the hosting service they provide to us, in accordance with their standard terms and applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

Hosting and data locations: GPT Engineer AB's infrastructure operates primarily within the European Union, with content delivery handled through a global content delivery network that may serve cached content from edge servers in various regions worldwide depending on your location. The specific data center and edge server locations used to deliver content to you are determined by GPT Engineer AB and may change over time.

GPT Engineer AB also provides basic, aggregated visitor statistics to us through their built-in dashboard. These statistics do not involve any tracking cookies or cross-site identifiers.

DNS, Content Delivery, and Email Routing

We use Cloudflare, Inc. to manage DNS for our domain, deliver content through their global network, and forward emails sent to our domain addresses (such as privacy@omnisapp.net and investors@omnisapp.net) to our personal inbox.

When you visit our website or send us an email at one of our domain addresses, Cloudflare may process:

  • Your IP address
  • HTTP request data and standard security logs
  • The content and metadata of emails routed to us through Cloudflare Email Routing

Cloudflare also provides us with basic, aggregated analytics about visits to our website. These analytics are based on server-side log data and do not involve tracking cookies.

Cloudflare operates globally, with data processed across servers in multiple regions including the European Union and the United States. Cloudflare processes this data as a data processor in connection with the services they provide to us, in accordance with their standard terms and applicable data protection laws.

Live Chat and Support

We use Tawk.to to provide live chat and support ticketing on our website. When you interact with our chat widget, Tawk.to processes the following data:

  • The content of messages you send through the chat
  • Any contact details you voluntarily provide (such as name or email)
  • Technical information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, approximate location at city level, and the pages you visit on our site
  • Cookies that allow Tawk.to to recognize returning visitors and maintain chat continuity

This data is used to respond to your inquiries, provide support, and improve our service. Tawk.to processes this data as a data processor in connection with the chat service they provide to us, in accordance with their standard terms and applicable data protection laws.

Tawk.to may transfer and store this data on servers located in the United States and other jurisdictions. For visitors in the European Union, these transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the data protection commitments of Tawk.to.

Tawk.to also provides us with basic visitor and conversation statistics through their built-in dashboard.

Choosing not to use the chat: You can browse our website without ever opening the chat widget. If you don't interact with it, no chat content is collected — though Tawk.to may still load the widget script and set basic cookies when you visit a page.

Email Correspondence

When you send us an email — either directly or by writing to one of our domain addresses (such as privacy@omnisapp.net or investors@omnisapp.net) — the email is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing and delivered to a Gmail inbox operated by us and provided by Google LLC.

Google processes the content and metadata of these emails (sender, recipient, subject, timestamps, attachments) as a data processor in connection with the Gmail service provided to us, in accordance with Google's standard terms and applicable data protection laws.

Google's infrastructure operates globally, with data processed across servers in multiple regions including the European Union and the United States.

Cookies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website. The cookies relevant to this site include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for basic site functionality and security
  • Hosting and CDN cookies — set by our hosting provider and Cloudflare for performance, load balancing, and security
  • Tawk.to cookies — set by our live chat provider to recognize returning visitors, maintain chat session state, and provide continuity between conversations. These are set when the chat widget loads on a page.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect site functionality, including the chat widget.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR for EU/UK residents, similar laws elsewhere), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data

OMNIS is not directed at children under 16 (or under 13, where applicable by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as we approach launch. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist subscribers by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
